Abstract

Intravesical migration of intra uterine device is extremely rare. Few cases only have been reported in the litterature. This migration may cause many complications including vesical stone.
Device migration may be secondary to a vesicovaginal fistula, or uterin perforation or a trans-uretral insertion of the IUD.
The case reported is one of a 52year-old woman with lower urinary tract symptoms that occured 25 years after the insertion of the IUD, that has been complicated with a vesical stone. The constitution of the lithiasis, has been though, the main consequence of thisforeign body.
